Girls Robotics Club Competes at King's College London
Back
This term our Girls Robotics Club went to King's College London to take part in the Girls Robotics Challenge - 'Space to Explore'.
Competing against eight other schools in designing and building their very own robot, they handled coding, electrical engineering and product design through the process from initial planning at Clarion to competition at King's. The team had to compete against eight other schools in controlling their robot around obstacles to collect items from the competition area.
The result of their efforts was a commendable third place award!

We are extremely proud of their efforts and proud to support girls developing their skills and confidence in STEM. Thank you to the staff and students of King's College London for hosting us and putting together a phenomenal event.
Our appreciation also goes to the STEM team for their support in coordinating the Girls Robotics Club.
